The pandemic clearly affected us all, with more recent destructive weather and the cost-of-living crisis deepening the challenges we’re all facing. Wait times for support services can be long, and as a health and wellness provider we wanted to help make access easier.
If you are a UniMed Member, you can opt to receive support from a provider of your choice or through our specialist partner, Clearhead.
Clearhead services are available online or in person with 500 therapists to choose from, including dedicated Māori and Pasifika professionals.
There’s virtually no delay, so you can book an appointment to receive help, usually within 24 hours.
If you decide to use another registered provider from one of our approved boards, we’ll reimburse you.
It’s just another example of how we’re taking care of the people who take care of the country.
