Should there be any conflict between the terms and conditions outlined for use of online services and those of UniMed’s products and services, the terms and conditions for those specific products and services shall prevail.
UniMed may change or update these terms and conditions without prior notice. Your continued use of the website and/or online services is deemed acceptance of the version of the terms current at the time you use the website or service. Although all reasonable care has been taken in producing the information contained on the website, it is of a general nature only and does not take into account any individual’s personal circumstances, financial, medical or otherwise. Every effort has been made to ensure that the content of the website is up to date and free from error however we do not give any guarantee or other assurance of the currency of any information or its accuracy, adequacy, completeness, or suitability for your intended use. Benefits outlined are the amount available to you to claim for eligible healthcare services based on your annual limits (the maximum amount you can claim in each claims year for an eligible service or for healthcare services within a particular category). There may be other conditions or restrictions which apply to the benefits outlined. Please refer to your original policy document and membership certificate.
Benefits outlined may not be accurate as claim limits are not updated in real time and applicable stand-down periods may apply.
Reliance on the information displayed regarding any benefits payable is entirely at your own risk. In order to avoid any confusion, we suggest that you contact us if you have any questions regarding your claim limits.
You can submit a completed claim form for eligible healthcare services received by any member covered under your policy. Please make sure that your photograph or scanned copy of the original claim form and original itemised receipts (including the dates that treatment was provided) is clear and able to be read. EFTPOS and credit card receipts on their own are not acceptable. Please retain your original itemised receipts as we may request these to be provided to us in order to complete the assessment of your claim.
Please make sure that all mandatory claims field are completed together with the required declarations. Your claim refund will be paid to the bank account number we have on file or as submitted on your completed claim form.
While all reasonable care is taken by UniMed to provide a secure website, UniMed will not, under any circumstances, be held liable for the loss, damage or liability caused by any breach of security including unauthorised access to or use of this website. You acknowledge that you are aware of, and agree to accept, any risks associated with investigating via the Internet including without limitation the possibility that third parties may gain access to information that is confidential.
You agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that all information in relation to any passwords and security arrangements are kept confidential to you and you will notify UniMed immediately if you suspect any breach of such confidentiality. You must not keep a written or electronic record of your security details or disclose your password to anyone. UniMed will not be liable for any loss you incur as a result of someone else using your username or password with or without your permission.
You are responsible for and must take all reasonable care to ensure the information you supply to UniMed is accurate and you must let UniMed know as soon as possible if you observe any incorrect or inaccurate information.
Whilst care has been taken to prevent the introduction of viruses on to this website, UniMed does not guarantee that this website is free from viruses. You are responsible for protecting your own computer(s) and/or network from being affected by viruses and bugs etc while using our website. UniMed is not responsible for any loss or damage you may suffer as a result of a virus, bug, etc affecting your computer and / or network.
Information may be contained on the website about products or services of third parties. UniMed makes no representation or warranty as to the quality of any of those services or their suitability to your circumstances.

- We collect personal information and bank account details for each member named in a claim for the purpose of assessing and administering the claim.

- If you fail to provide the information requested your claim may be declined.
- You have the right to access and request correction of this information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993
