I would like to add or remove a family member from my policy, how do I do that?

Please advise us in writing of your request. If you are adding a family member then you will need to complete an application form for them.

I would like to change the plan I am on, will I need to complete a new application form?

If the plan you are moving to is a downgrade then you will not need to complete an application form, you just need to advise us in writing of the plan you wish to move to and the effective date of the change. If the plan you are moving to is an upgrade, then you will need to complete an application form including declaration of your current medical status and history. In all cases a plan change request must be made in writing - by letter or email.

If I upgrade will I have cover for my pre-existing conditions?

We will assess your application form and determine whether any limitations will apply to your cover. In general, any exclusion on your policy will remain in force and you will retain cover for any pre-existing conditions to at least the same benefit level as before the upgrade. Note that "same benefit level" means that the benefit limit for your old plan will apply to the same benefit on the new plan, however, if the old benefit is not present on your new plan then there is no cover. Conditions you develop after the upgrade will be covered to the new plan benefit limits.
