How Do I Receive My Claim Refund

Reimbursements for primary health care costs (for example general practitioner's visits, prescription items, x-rays etc) are made either directly to a member's bank account should that be your wish (and after supplying UniMed with the necessary bank account details) or alternatively, remitted to your residential address or PO Box by cheque.

Should you require hospitalisation, the qualifying amount payable is reimbursed directly to the surgeon, hospital, anaesthetist etc provided that you have already contacted UniMed and availed yourself of our claims prior approval service (please refer to "I Need To Go To Hospital").
